Coaching is about taking you from where you are now to where you want to be. It helps you stop and reflect on what is important to you and design and develop a plan to get you there. Coaching keeps you accountable. Your coach works with you to facilitate turning your desires into actions. This is accomplished by helping you navigate the obstacles in your way, thus allowing you to move towards where you want to be. You are in charge! At Rocket Coaching & Consulting we take you above the everyday details, to gain clarity about who you are, what is most important to you and what you want, which leads to aligning your actions with your core values bringing you greater fulfillment.
How it Works
The Rocket Life Coaching process is built on what I call the “Elements of Change”.
The overlap between “Self Awareness”, “Setting Goals” and “Accountability“.
It requires two-way honest communication, and a “safe space”. It takes being open to reflection and change in order to see what is possible and take action. We are a team: you supply the willingness to make progress toward your goals and I hold you accountable to achieve the results you want and help overcome any doubt or obstacles that get in way.
1. Explore – know yourself
Become self-aware. Reflecting on where you are today and what you want. What are your values? Your priorities? What do you want more of?
2. Set Goals – identify focus
Set goals based on the outcomes you desire. Do your goals excite you? Do they resonate with you?
3. Take Action – create a plan
What are the best options to achieve your goals? What is your time frame? Will you commit?
4. Be Accountable – results
Monitor your progress. Deepen your learning and make any necessary changes along the way.
5. Celebrate Your Success – be in the moment
Enjoy your success and start over.
How Coaching Is Delivered
In person, via Skype or on the phone. You decide. Most coaching is conducted over the phone as clients find it is the most efficient means to communicate given their schedules. However, we can meet in person if that is your preference. Depending on your goals for coaching we typically meet 2 to 3 times per month for 45 minutes at a time. Follow-up is by text or e-mail if needed, between sessions.
